Solutions for dieless cutting of leather and synthetic materials
The FlashJet 2000 DA1 (single nozzle) and FlashJet 2000 DA3 (three nozzles) belong to a series of cutting tables designed to cut a wide range of man-made materials, without dies, in single or multiple layers, up to a total thickness of 100 mm. The high performance of these tables, achievable thanks to
their speed and structure, makes them suitable for several industrial applications. The systems are composed of a waterjet cutting station with one or three nozzles (with variable distance, automatically controlled by the operational software), and 2 level, automatic, handling pallets (to load the material and unload the cut pieces on one pallet, while the other is performing the cutting). The pallets are available either with a steel mesh or with a special structure of steel pins designed to minimize back-splashing and to help the material in place during cutting. Total safety and an efficient soundproofing degree are ensured by a special protection cabin. The systems are controlled by a Nesting software, automatically or manually operated, for optimized lay-planning of patterns. The FlashJet 1600 DA matches easiness of use and high material yield, regardless of operator's skill, and allows for the automatic cutting of irregularly shaped scraps of previous cuts.

A complete system for automatic leather cutting
ATOM FlashJet is an automatic line for dieless leather cutting. The system is constituted by a cutting station with a waterjet table and by a powered feeding system with pallets. The operations of hide loading and collecting of cut pieces are assisted by high-resolution light projectors operated by a control software.
The working area of FlashJet can accommodate hides up to the size of a cow half-hide. The special surface of the cutting and transportation pallets allow a fast, clean and accurate cutting. For operators' total safety, the system is fully protected by guards and safety devices. The special cabin around the waterjet cutting station ensures noise protection. Acquisition of hide contours and marking of defects and quality areas are performed on teh dedicated station ATOM IntelliView. The Cutting table is then controlled by HideNest software, a fully automatic nesting system which computes the optimized lay-plan of patterns on the hide, applying the constraints of quality matching defects and stretching directions.
